This 1984 Hilburn houseboat was purchased in 2023 and completely rebuilt from the hull up — essentially a new vessel with classic lines and modern comforts.

Rebuild Highlights:

The boat was stripped to the hull and fully reconstructed. Major upgrades include:

Engine and Mechanical: Mercruiser 120 HP I/O, steam cleaned, with new stern drive, electronic ignition, and carburetor.

Fuel System: Two new 50-gallon fuel tanks.

Electrical and Plumbing: All new wiring, fixtures, plumbing, and tanks (fresh water 2-80gal, black water 40gal, and fuel 100gal).

HVAC: Brand new air conditioning.

Roof and Exterior: EPDM roof, mold-resistant vinyl siding, bottom sealed and epoxy coated, and fresh bottom paint.

Interior Construction: Walls built with 2x4 framing, insulated (4"), covered with shiplap and ¾" plywood.

Flooring: Cork-backed white ash floors.

Bathroom: Electric Raritan toilet (holds constant water in bowl) and 12"x12" tiled shower.

Appliances: All new appliances, LED lighting throughout.

Outdoor Living: 12’x14’ screened bow lounge with ceiling fan.

Storage: Over 24" of below-deck storage running the full length and width of the boat.

Additional Features: Two continuous battery chargers, ceiling fans throughout.
