The 2007 Marquis 55 Motor Yacht Salty Side Eye represents an exceptional blend of Italian styling, American engineering, and luxury cruising comfort. Designed by renowned Italian superyacht designers Nuvolari-Lenard and built in Pulaski, Wisconsin by Marquis Yachts (a division of Carver Yachts), the Marquis series quickly earned a reputation for combining European elegance with solid American construction and performance.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta D12 800HP diesel engines, this yacht delivers strong performance and dependable cruising capability. Current engine hours are approximately 1,650 hours on the port engine and 1,880 hours on the starboard engine, with the Kohler 23kW generator showing approximately 3,250 hours.

Recent mechanical improvements include a new turbo installed on the starboard engine in 2025 and a new turbo and exhaust pipe installed on the port engine in 2024, along with shaft seal replacements and additional servicing.

Navigation and onboard systems have been significantly modernized with a complete Garmin electronics suite installed in 2024, including dual multifunction displays, radar, AIS, autopilot, wind and depth sensors, and integrated cameras. Additional technology upgrades include Starlink internet and Nebolink remote monitoring, allowing owners to stay connected and monitor the vessel remotely.

Outdoor entertaining spaces aboard Salty Side Eye are equally impressive. The yacht features a large fully enclosed flybridge with wet bar, grill, refrigeration, and generous seating, while the cockpit offers comfortable lounging space and easy access to the water.

A hydraulic swim platform supports the 2025 Highfield Classic 360 tender, making it easy to launch the dinghy and explore beaches, waterfront restaurants, or quiet anchorages.
